What makes you unique in your profession? What makes me unique in the industry is the fact that I am Electrically gifted. Some people are born with musical abilities and I was born with Electrical abilities and I take great pleasure in this career.

Who is someone you admire? My adopted father. He is a man among men. He introduced me into the trade and nurtured me into the man I am today.

What do you like most about Lira Electric? The emphasis on all of us being a team. If you make a mistake, there is always someone you can count on to help and teach you. We are all well versed in different aspects of the industry/backgrounds, so if you need any advice on personal or professional growth, someone is always there to guide you and make you feel welcomed.

What makes you unique in your profession? What makes me unique in this industry is that I am proud to be a “Chief Cook and Bottle washer”. No task is too small or too big. I enjoy helping out wherever I can whether that be out in the field or in the office.

Do you have a personal motto you live by? “Good things come to those that work”

Who is someone you admire? I really admire Tara the Animal Sanctuary Founder. She is one of the most selfless persons I know. She works a full-time job, has her own family to take care of, and still manages to save, care, fundraise, and advocate for all of the animals at the sanctuary. She shows me that not every day is perfect or easy but the key thing is to keep going, I try to incorporate this into my everyday life.

What makes you unique in your profession? I am a highly self-motivated individual with a strong drive. Do you have a personal motto you live by? It’s not really a personal motto, but I like the quote… “We are not a team because we work together, we are a team because we respect, trust and care for each other.”

Who is someone you admire, and why? My parents were incredible role models for me growing up, and my husband that has always been my greatest supporter.

What is your favorite hobby? I enjoy live shows and theater, as well as spending quality time with friends and family.

How many years have you been in your industry? I’ve been in the electrical trade for 26 years, with experience in the field, in teaching, and in management.

What makes you unique in your profession? What sets me apart in the construction trade is my broad perspective. Over the years, I’ve worked as a business owner, business manager, project manager, superintendent, estimator, teacher, field foreman, general foreman, journeyman, and even started as an apprentice electrician.

Do you have a personal motto you live by? I choose to see the best in every situation.

Who is someone you admire? I admired my mother who could always find room for one more at the table.

Have you ever served in the military? Yes, I retired from the U.S. Air Force on April 1, 2025, after 25 years of service.

How many years have you been in your industry? I have 11 years of experience as a Project Manager in the U.S. Air Force and was able to translate those skills outside, which led to my role with Lira.
